Arts and Culture
Lodi is making a name for itself as a first-class art scene in the Valley. At the Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Theater, visitors can enjoy live concerts and theater performances year-round. Lovers of the visual arts will find great pleasure in exploring Lodi’s expanding art scene. Two galleries have become destination locations for art collectors from around the country. The Knowlton Gallery, in downtown Lodi, showcases fine artists, both painters and photographers, from Northern California. Graves Country Gallery specializes in folk art paintings, carvings, face jugs and southern roosters, both antique and contemporary.
In addition to several other galleries, Lodi is home to a dozen public murals, and hosts numerous art-related events throughout the year, including the monthly Art Hop and the Night Time Live Jazz series. For a mural map or complete listing of events, go to visitlodi.com.
