In the Heart of California.
As destinations go, Lodi is an easy place to visit in Northern California.
     It is located 35 miles south of Sacramento, 90 miles east of San Francisco and snuggled in between I-5 and Hwy. 99.
     From the North or the South: Lodi is situated between Hwy. 99 and I-5. From Hwy. 99 take the Turner Road Exit. From I-5 take the Hwy. 12 E exit.
     From the West: From the Bay area, take I-80 toward the Bay Bridge/Oakland, exit onto I-580 E, toward CA-24/Hayward/Stockton, continue onto I-205 E and merge onto I-5 N, towards Sacramento.
     From the East: Depending upon where your trip begins, take either Hwy. 88 (from the northeast) to Hwy. 12 into Lodi. From the southeast, you’ll simply take Hwy. 12 W.
     Lodi is also part of Amtrak’s rail system. The Lodi Airport is served primarily by charter aircraft.
